This will not be your usual blog post. I will just cut to the chase. Cravings are a mixture of emotions, hormonal imbalances, low nutrient dense foods and improper hydration.
I will say I am someone that always had cravings. Carbs and sugar were my go to all the time. I never thought I could overcome my addiction but I did, so I know you can too.
Here are some easy simple tips for you to start conquering your cravings and turning your health around:
- hydration (use a pure, no sugar electrolyte blend {no gatorade or crap like that })
- take trace minerals
- drink liver detoxing teas on a weekly basis
- eat Whole Foods (Gluten free oats, organic rice, potatoes, veggies, fruit)
- Eat 20 grams of protein with each meal (often times I see women not eating nearly enough protein)
- Zero calorie carbonated healthy bereaves such as Waterloo, Zevia, Lacroix, Bubly. Drink this at night or when you notice you want to snack a lot. I pair this with one meal somedays or with my night time protein snack so I will be full and feel treated 🙂
