So how did I lose 1 pant size in 3 weeks?!

This summer I decided to do a trial Liver Detox and record my progress. I have learned from my functional medicine school, that our livers need help to keep the detox pathways open and supported. Many believe that our bodies detox naturally and do not need help. I for one, do not believe this now-YES I was skeptical to liver detoxes but I am a true believer now. Now buying the liver detox teas and just drinking that is not a detox, it is specific meal planS, supplement plans and lifestyle changes. Research shows that toxins excretion increases in the urine and stool during a liver detox.

Signs of a sluggish liver include: lack of energy even when full night of sleep, skin issues (acne, psoriasis, eczema, etc.), hormonal imbalances, chronic sinus infections, inflammation, frequent yeast/bacterial vaginal infections, digestion issues, pain, weight gain, or weight that is hard to lose.

The liver is there to remove toxins, store vitamins, minerals and sugars. It helps fight infections, regulate blood clotting, produce bile-(bile is needed to digest and absorb fats and fat soluble vitamins A,D,E and K), converts T4 into T3 for thyroid function.

Fact: When you lose fat mass (large weight lose with or with out assistance such as (gastric sleeve or bypass), you free up toxins from the liver and the toxins end up back in your body in circulation. It is important to support liver detoxification, if not we will only increase stress and body will get sicker causing thyroid problems, hormonal dysfunctions, gut dysbiosis, and rollercoaster weight gain/lose.
